Summary

This is a personal portfolio website. It does not run advertising, analytics, third-party tracking pixels, or social-media tracking scripts. The only data that may pass through this site is what is strictly necessary to deliver the page to your browser, plus preferences you choose to save locally.

What data is collected

1. Server logs (essential)

The hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) automatically processes basic request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, and HTTP status — for the legitimate interest of delivering the site, preventing abuse, and ensuring security. This data is processed by Vercel under its own privacy policy and is not used by us for any other purpose.

2. Local browser storage (optional)

If you accept the “Preferences” category in the cookie banner, your accessibility choices (text size, contrast, motion, etc.) and your cookie banner choice itself are saved in your own browser's localStorage. This information stays on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings.

3. Email you send

If you contact me by email (e.g. via the mailto: link on the contact section), I will receive whatever you choose to send — name, email address, and message content. I use it solely to reply to you and discuss possible work together. I do not add you to any mailing list and I do not share your message.

What is NOT collected

• No Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, or any analytics tool.
• No advertising or remarketing pixels (Facebook, Google Ads, etc.).
• No social-media share or like trackers.
• No fingerprinting or cross-site tracking.
• No newsletter or marketing email list.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site itself does not set tracking cookies. The hosting platform (Vercel) may set strictly necessary cookies for security and load-balancing. The accessibility widget and cookie banner use localStorage, not cookies, to remember your preferences on this device only.

Third-party services

• Vercel — hosting and content delivery. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Google Fonts — fonts are self-hosted via next/font, so no requests are made to Google's servers at page-view time.

Your rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (as amended), and — where applicable — the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Know what personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of that data.
• Withdraw consent at any time (where consent was the basis).
• Lodge a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority (gov.il) or, for EU residents, your local data-protection authority.

Data retention

Server logs are retained by the hosting provider according to its own policy (typically a short rolling window). Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to fulfil our conversation and for reasonable business records, then deleted on request.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). I do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the “last updated” date above will change and, where appropriate, a notice will appear on the site.
